Kolkata’s Medica Superspecialty Hospital, one of India’s healthcare providers, has introduced special facilities for Bangladeshi patients. Special initiatives have been taken to ensure speedy service to patients in health insurance and neighboring states. A consultation cell has been set up in Dhaka to ensure speedy processing of visas, easy travel and admission, speedy doctor appointments.

Vice Chairman of Medica Group of Hospitals and Group Director of Orthopedics Joint Replacement and Orthoscopic Surgeon Dr. Vikash Kapoor; Senior Consultant, Lower Back Pain & Neurosurgery (Mind) Dr. Harsh Jain; Director and Senior Consultant of Gastroenterology Department Dr. Pradeepta Kumar Sethy, Surgical Oncology Consultant Dr. Arindam Mondol addressed the press conference.
Prior to this press conference, a health awareness discussion meeting was organized at Gulshan Club, Dhaka organized by Rotary Club of Eskaton Dhaka and in collaboration with Friends of Bangladesh. Hon’ble Member of Parliament Dr. Pran Gopal Dutta was present as the chief guest in the discussion meeting.
Medica Hospital started its journey in 2010 and is currently serving patients with 7 chain hospitals.
